Bildung zu fördern heißt, Armut zu verringern, Perspektiven vor Ort zu schaffen und Kindern eine Zukunft in ihren Heimatländern zu geben. Das ist das Ziel der Gemeinschaftsinitiative „1000 Schulen für unsere Welt“, die Deutscher Städtetag, Deutscher Landkreistag und der Deutsche Städte- und Gemeindebund gemeinsam mit Schirmherr Dr. Gerd Müller, Bundesminister für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung, offiziell in Berlin starteten. Das Projekt soll nun bundesweit Schule machen.
